Creativity Contest: winners announced!

We’ve made a terrible mistake: we thought a creativity contest would be a great idea, only to realise that it is quite impossible to pick a winner among the overwhelming amount of amazing entries. But we’ve risen to the challenge, and after a lot of listening, reading, watching, and viewing — and after much back-and-forth — we’re ready to congratulate the following winners:

In the category ‘Music’:

Morwëna, a brand new band from Czechia and Slovakia, who’ve chosen our song Avalanche as their first recording, ever. Listen (and watch!) here:

In the category ‘Visual’:

İrem Kaşıkoğulları, who shared a beautiful painting which we thought fits our music perfectly:

In the category ‘Story’:

Paul Kozlov, who wrote a beautiful short story which is based on The Spell, but also stands apart and works on its own. Read it here: https://www.cellardarling.com/the-many-burdens-of-katherine-holcombe-by-pavel-kozlov

Bonus winner:

Alex Buckley (& friends), who wrote an entire song to fit into the universe of our concept album The Spell. It didn‘t exactly fit in any category, but it sure is creative! Listen here:

And to everyone else:

We would have loved to pick every single entry. We can’t express our gratitude to you all for sharing your creativity with us, nor can we present everything here in a fitting way. We can only say THANK YOU to Luciano, Heloisa & Luiz, Trevor, Paulo, Kateřina S, Katerina G., Célestin, Onyx & Vera, Diana, Nick & Iris, Archita, Marzena, Johannes, Héctor, Geoff, Veronika, Alexandra, Aleksandra, Andres, Kim, Anna, Marcel, Fabrice, Jessica, Vincent, Ella & Nik, Paul, Nayrobi, Sterling, Bruno, Paula (Evi), Thomas, Marco, Eryk, Floor, Tommaso, Miguel, Ashley, Joseph, John, Marianna, Romain, Jedrek, Evan, Gaëtan, Gabriel, Randy, David, Marina, Andrea, Fernando, Heather, Inès, Timothy, Cecilia, Steven, Nadine, Andrea, John, Zangelica, Martino, Bram, Simon, Evanessa, Yap, Alina, Ron, Reto, Bryan, Serj, Gert, Aurora, Kris, Lars, Mike, Sid, Pete, and a couple of entries that arrived without name.
